Concept
There are the following versions:
Écharpes, Foulard, Maxi-Carrés, Carrés, Scarfs, Small Scarfs and Twillies.
The "Écharpes" are proportional to the original artworks, keeping the signatures, their measurements and positions. In some cases they may be closed (Foulard).
The Maxi-Carrés, the Carrés, the Scarves and the Small Scarves are chosen squares, segments of the original works, changing the measurements of the signatures and their position, for aesthetic reasons.
Finally, the Twillies are two dimensions, long and short, always with the signatures reduced and adapted to their size.

Our story
Two colections: PJV-MTP and PJV-Art 100% From Wool to Silk and from Silk to Bronze!
PJV-MTP
These initials identify a collection of scarves inspired by the Tapestries of Portalegre, whose authors authorized that they be adapted exclusively in pure silk, printed with natural dyes through a digital method.
The concept of the PJV-MTP collection has existed since 2019 and was developed during the first wave of the pandemic, having entered production in 2021!
Pedro Jaime Vasconcelos has been collaborating with the Portalegre Tapestry Factory since 2017, having been the curator of several actions involving tapestries. This collection is born from this relationship, involving coulors and shapes, in a journey from wool to silk.
PJV-ART
In 2022 Pedro Jaime began to produce bronze sculptures, the first inspired by a tapestry, and the following were created from original works. The PJV-Art collection was born.
The Pedro Jaime Vasconcelos Gallery open in 2023 with the first "4as4H" exhibition.
Several silk scarves, group and solo exhibitions have been produced. Editions of bronze sculptures have been produced. The gallery has participated in several art fairs, where it has had the opportunity to present artists and important works of art.

Deliveries in Lisbon are free!
Outside of Lisbon, too; if it is sent by RodoMail, the bus parcel service of the National Express Network (the buyer has to travel to the nearest bus station in the place of order).
Ask us how to do, so we can coordinate the details of this shipment.
Outside of Portugal we can ship by DHL, PDP or CTT. Shipping costs vary with the destination and the way of shipment.

Portugal:
In Lisbon, the Portalegre Tapestry Gallery is the ideal place to see the silks and to pick up your orders, if you choose a face-to-face purchase. On Tuesdays and Thursdays is open in the afternoon, but if you call us to schedule, you can come visit the Gallery on the day and time that suits. And you can always take the opportunity to see the tapestries exposed.
In Vila Franca de Xira, the gallery is open by appointment.
